October Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
Finished Bridge approach and departure sections of guardrail, removal of forms, filling holes, popcorn, rubbing, water repellent, cleanup of concrete, standpipe, membrane, pavement, punch list, paint touch up, and demobilization.
Working on As-Builts, Quantities, and Bluebeam files.
Finished placement of I-93 North Bound ON Ramp Soundwall panels and water repellant.
Finished I-93 Southbound Overhead Sign Structures.
Began preparation and concrete sidewalk work.
Finished Sound wall humus grading.
Installed Granite Curb at bridge signal intersections.
Paved curbed islands areas and tie ins up top.
Placed granite curb.
Finished Pond # 1649.
Upcoming Activities:
Place South Bound Overhead Sign Structures.
Concrete work at Pond # 1649.
Continue curbed islands areas and tie ins up top.
Install permanent signs.

September Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
Performed bridge radar and cores.
Installed bridge guardrail, fence, and prep work for membrane.
Placed both abutment slope paving areas.
Continued removing bridge forms, filling holes, rubbing, touch up, water repellant, and now working on bridge punch list items.
Working on As-Builts, Quantities, and Bluebeam files.
Continued placement of Northbound on Ramp Sound wall panels.
Excavated and began I-93 Southbound Overhead Sign Structures.
Finished Fine grading, select materials, pavement base and binder placed for Old Rum Trail, Northbound, and Southbound Ramps.
Removed Southbound concrete barrier to about the Bridge.
Completed drainage related to Best Management Practice 1670, ramp, and raising ramp grates and frames.
Old Rum Trail fine grade, stabilize slopes, raise grates and frames, place guardrail, and continued paving.
Guardrail installed on Southbound on/off ramps and Northbound southernmost Overhead Sign Structure excavation area.
Completed Ponds Best Management Practices 1012 and 1670.
Placed curbing on the Old Rum Trail.

Sound wall construction resumes along Northbound I-93. Panels, water repellent, and humus grading continues.

Sound wall Southbound I-93, drilled shafts, panels, and fine grading completed.
Sound wall Northbound I-93, drilled shafts completed, currently working on panels and fine grading.
Bridge pours and expansion joints completed, proceeding toward guardrail, fence, slope paving, clean up, membrane, and pavement.
Fine grading, select materials, and pavement placed for Old Rum Trail, Northbound, and Southbound Ramps.
Removed Northbound concrete barrier, placed and extended Southbound.
Upcoming Activities:
Sound Wall construction resumes along Northbound I-93. Panels, water repellent, and humus grading continues.

July Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
Sound wall Southbound I-93, drilled shafts, panels, and fine grading completed.
Decks 1A, 1B, and 2 have been poured. Work proceeding toward deck ends, approach slabs, median, sidewalk, and coping.
Extra work for the Woodmont utility sleeves finished this month.
Fine grading and select materials for Old Rum Trail, Northbound, and Southbound Ramps continues.
Placed selects on acceleration and deceleration lanes on Southbound ramps.
Paved binder on Northbound On and Off Ramps. Paved base on the acceleration and deceleration lanes of Northbound.
Upcoming Activities:
Sound wall shaft construction resumes along northbound I-93. Drilled shafts, panels, and humus grading continues.
Bridge reinforcing steel on deck ends, lower and upper approach slabs.
Concrete for deck ends, lower and upper approach slabs.
Placement of materials for lower and upper approach slabs.
Stockpiling sand for Old Rum Trail.
Continue select work and begin paving Old Rum Trail.
Continue concrete and reinforcement of Overhead Sign Structure bases, and place slope paving under abutments.

May Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
Fine grading and select material placement continued on the Old Rum Trail.
At the sound wall along I-93 southbound, drilled shafts, panels, and fine grading have been completed.
Bridge deck panels have been installed.
Decks 1A, 1B, and 2 have been poured. Work proceeding toward deck ends, approach slabs, median, sidewalk, and coping.
Bridge reinforcing steel on outsides, sidewalk, median, and coping is actively being placed.
Signal bases for the northbound on/off ramp have been poured.
Contractor is placing select materials on the southbound on ramp.
Humus and seeding of Stormwater Treatment Basin 1038 is complete.
Signal foundations were poured and cofferdam was removed and backfilled.
Contractor relocated barrier from northbound shoulder to PH 3 TCP closure.
On the southbound off-ramp, crews completed shimming, fine grading, and select materials placement.
Upcoming Activities:
Sound wall shaft construction resumes along northbound I-93.
Contractor will set post and panels for the remainder of the Southbound sound wall.
Contractor is actively hauling in select materials to the stockpile.
Extra work for the Woodmont utility sleeves will continue.
Barrier placement continues along I-93 northbound to accommodate the PH 3 construction of the northbound on/off ramp tie ins.
Bridge deck ends, approach slabs, median, sidewalk, and coping concrete pours are scheduled for June.
Woodmont extra work is anticipated to commence this month.

• Contractor will set post and panels for the remainder of the southbound soundwall.
• Contractor is actively hauling in select materials to the stockpile.

Recent Activities:
• Drainage was installed on Old Rum Trail.
• Drilled shafts, post and panels were installed for the southbound on ramp.
• Drilled shafts are being installed for the southbound on ramp as well as post and panels.
• Bridge form work is ongoing in preparations for concrete deck panels.
• Installation of the 60” round concrete pipe and headwall has been completed.
Upcoming Activities:
• Soundwall construction continues along southbound I-93. Towards the end of the month crews will relocate to the northbound wall to finish the remaining wall work.
• Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
• Crews will set bridge deck panels in early April followed by shear studs.
• Signal/Intelligent Transportation Systems conduit is being installed on the new bridge.
• Contractor is actively hauling in select materials to the stockpile.
• Extra work for the Woodmont utility sleeves will take place this month.
• Signal foundations are being constructed for the northbound on/off ramp intersection.

• Soundwall construction continues through the remainder of the winter on southbound. Wall post and panels are to be erected on southbound.
• Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
• Bridge deck forming will continue.
• Installation of a 60” reinforced concrete pipe and headwall will take place this month.
• Blasting for stormwater best management practices and extra work for Woodmont utility sleeves will take place.
